The Novice programme caters to those who have never rowed before. Training can be completed in your own time and there is no pressure to complete it all, allowing you to learn to sweep, scull or cox at your own pace.
With weekly socials, the Novice programme is the perfect way to meet new people and make friends fast, all whilst working together towards competing at national events.
As part of your rowing membership, you have access to a 24/7 gym with weights, ergs and spin bikes.
The top end of the senior squad will be selected to train on the High Performance Programme. This gives access to discounted physio sessions, nutrition advice and various workshops.
As the season progresses, the Novice and Senior programmes integrate, allowing you to further develop your skills and giving you the opportunity to race in the university's top boats at the world's biggest races.
